mmmmmkay... Does this display in their Lxx in Target bar, or does it just happen?

(Sorry for the newb Questions, but I am Really unfamiliar with the jargon here, and with Death Leveling monsters (got out of Pre as fast as I could). Aside from a Post back in Oct'06 to Price-check an item I haven't been reading here much)

By "monster" I meant to say "Animal Monsters". As the leveing doesn't happen with ordinary monsters.

Further explanation can be found here: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Death-l...mal_Companions

I may be misunderstanding you, but ordinary monsters can deathlevel just as well as animal monsters. I'm deathleveling Charr as we speak.

Yes, they can, but the trick is to get them to hang around a rez shrine for the 9 second rez cycle. You need them to be patrolling there in the event that they wander away from you during that time. Animal monsters do not travel in groups, striders, spiders, and warthogs are solo creatures.

You need a patrol group. I have yet to hear of anybody luring a group or two of Bandits or Skales to a rez shrine and keeping them there. The Charr give you the advantage of being able to get exp for the entire group rather than just the one, saving time.

I don't know if anyone has successfully found a way to lure a group of regular monsters that were not Charr to a rez shrine and keep them aggroed at the shrine, anywhere in pre-searing.

Well, yeah, that's true. I'm not sure why you would want to lure any other monsters to a shrine though, since all other creatures in pre searing are lvl 3 or below, apart from Oakhearts. Charr give you a five level head start.

Anyway, my point is that all monsters do level, even if some of them would require you to run back to the group every time you got resurrected.

I have screenshots of 10 different people getting Pre Sear, and hundreds of people having r3 survivor... I say stop complaining these titles are truly difficult to get. I like them highlighted as they are. Having both? Thats a bit ridiculous I know its difficult as it is to get either... but I think that the system is as good as it is. Having both makes KoaBD easier to get, the people who have presear hero took about 2 months to get this while survivor 3 only takes 100 hours? I would be impressed to see them both get on a character, beyond belief.

It would take a partner though to feed to the charr.. w/e I like it how it is

Giving the ability to earn LDoA and survivor, would give prophecies players the chance to earn more titles than faction and nightfall players. By allowing only one or the other will keep it fair for everyone else. I would not want them to make any changes to the titles, and I especially would not want them to add a level 15 ANYTHING to pre-sear. It would greatly cheapen the title that so many people have put so many hours into attaining. Making a title easier to attain only diminishes the worth of the title. I don't have LDoA on a character yet, I may have it by summer, I'm working on it. If you don't want to defend ascalon by dying for it, work on your sugar rush title or something. LDoA is one title that I don't think should ever, in any way, be made easier.

I think these titles should never have been added. The more they added, the stranger they got.

We have funny & silly grind titles like Drunkard, and we have a title for death levelling, the LDoA.

With the grinder mentality displayed there one wonders why these people do not play another MMORPG and grind happily till they die.

LDoA is more an AFK title than any other (save the lucky titles perhaps). I agree it would be boring as hell but I only, ONLY said make it possible.

I DID NOT SAY MAKE IT EASIER. can't you ppl get it? No way it's gonna make KoaBD easier, having to res your pet for God knows how many times.

But the point is that Prophecies characters will now have one extra title. Who cares how much extra work you need to do to get it. It is still an extra title. If you're gonna make it possible to get both of these, you'll have to make it possible for Nightfall and Factions characters to go back to pre searing to have their chance to get it. And how ridiculous is that idea.

Just leave it as is. You can only display one title at a time anyway. You'll just have to make a choice as to which one you like more.

And, depending on how the Hall of Monuments actually works (we won't know until closer to the release of GWEN) you may be able to get both titles on one character in GW2 (but again, this is speculation, and pretty wild speculation at that. Don't take my word as fact)
